Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” will make the jump from book to film during Tyler Public Library’s Page to Screen event on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.
Participants ages 18 and older are encouraged to read the classic novel before the event, then join the Library for a discussion followed by a screening of the 1931 film “Frankenstein,” directed by James Whale.
Horror fans can also get into the spirit by dressing as their favorite horror character. A prize basket will be awarded for the best costume.
